Tomica can be referred to the Matchbox Toys of Japan that focus mainly but not exclusively on Japanese brands. Tomica started in 1970 when the founders decided to given Japanese children small diecast cars based on Japan’s own automobile makers. The cars are made so they can fit easily in the palm of a child’s hand. The diecast bodies and baked enamel paint give an authentic feel as th real cars. The love of Tomica hae withstand time. Presently, there are lineup of least 140 cars at any time with a new model launched on the third Saturday of every month. Tomica believe in the threefold power:
